About Gene
I have a vast and diverse range of experiences accumulated over more than 25 years of creating - from concept and storyboard illustration, mural painting, fine art painting, and contemporary art. I've contributed to major commissions in the city of Montreal, including the mural tribute to Leonard Cohen on Crescent Street as one of the leading artists. In more recent years, I've shifted over to teaching and education, tutoring younger talent to consulting with both professional and mature artists. My approach is both accessible and comprehensive, I offer a complete overview of development to more elaborate projects in studio painting.
