About Jivika
Hello! I’m a violin tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education specialising in Strings – Violin. I have had the privilege of directing string ensembles, leading group violin classes, and coaching youth orchestras. These experiences have strengthened my skills in section leading, tuning as a group, and fostering strong ensemble dynamics. I work closely with schools, community centres, and chamber groups to help musicians develop not only their individual skills but also their ability to collaborate and listen as part of a team. Teaching in group settings has taught me the importance of clear communication and encouraging mutual respect among players. My focus is on creating a supportive environment where every student feels valued and inspired to contribute to the group’s sound. Ensemble playing is a wonderful journey of collective growth, and I love guiding young musicians as they discover the joy of making music together. Seeing students connect through music and improve as a team brings me great satisfaction. Music truly shines brightest when shared, and I’m passionate about helping others experience that magic.
