About Victoria
After serving four years in the Navy, I decided I needed a mental boot camp. Yoga kept me sane and felt welcomed while the military created a cold and lonely atmosphere. I desired to make others feel the way my teachers made me feel, whole. I began my yoga journey with a 200hr Hatha alignment training in Samara, Costa Rica. An interest sparked to teach kid's yoga. I later got certified in teaching "Tots to teens. I am a volunteer kids yoga teacher on occasional days for an elementary school in Rancho San Diego. Even though, I felt ready to teach after my Costa Rica training, I was drawn to the 200hr teacher training at Indie Yoga, in Ocean Beach, San Diego. Here I established a connection with more local San Diego, yoga teachers. Yoga was a hobby that turned into a habit and soon became a life style.
I got started teaching by being dedicated to my practice as a means to escape the military life style. By escaping the military life style, yoga became my new life style. I became so emerced in yoga and showing up to my mat, I felt drawn to teach and further study my practice.

I will get a sense of who they are by asking several personal questions. Questions would include, Does their job require a lot of sitting or standing? Is your daily routine filled with stress? Do you have any injuiries? I asked these question to gather a sense of what type of practice I will need to share and teach to my new student.
I have worked with middle aged adults.
I have also worked with children within the age group of 9-12.
My advice would be, get a sense of the teacher. Every teacher has a different style of teaching. For each student there is a amazing teacher. Having a meditative and spiritual connection with your teacher is an extremely important note to remember.
Hilcrest, Farmers market. I live across the street from the farmers market and find it necessary to make my way there every Sunday! Fresh produce, local venders and newly brewed coffee; can not beat it.

I do have a standard pricing system for my lessons. I teach private lessons for $60.
I teach group setting $10 a person within the group.
