About Casie
I am an RYT 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher, with a foundation in dance and massage. I have been teaching for about 8 years, and have been lucky enough to teach yoga classes & retreats throughout Central America and Europe. I offer public and private classes, plus frequent events such as Hustle and Flow (an outdoor workout followed by a yoga class!), and the yearly Sweet Sierra Retreat in Shaver Lake, CA.
My favorite way to teach is through energizing, choreographed Vinyasa flows. I love breaking down challenge poses to their foundations, and empowering my students to find their own way into movement.
I weave my dance background, a playful attitude, and a love of movement into every yoga class. As a teacher, my aim is to create space for students to explore what brings them joy, freedom, and strength in both their practice and their lives.
When I’m not teaching yoga, you can find me rock climbing, backpacking, surfing, and adventuring outdoors — or hard at work creating content for my day job.

I think it's important to start by connecting, to learn what my new students are interested in focusing on, what their past yoga experience is, and what they want to learn! Then I create a plan that will slowly build students towards their goals.
