About Kristen
I began teaching yoga in 2008 and graduated yoga teacher training under the guidance of Valerie Baltzer at both the 200 and 500hr level in 2011. That same year, I built K10Yoga and have grown exponentially since then. We offer yoga classes, workshops, training programs, embody love workshops and social justice programs that are affordable and accessible to everyone. We have an online yoga studio for students who want to practice from home.
At K10Yoga we encourage students to explore, dream and discover themselves. We create environments for students to recognize their power to empower themselves.
I have studied with many great teachers including Seane Corn and Kerri Kelly. I have completed 500hours of training and have over 3,500 hours of teaching experience. I am a continuing ed provider with Yoga Alliance and the lead instructor and owner of K10Yoga School, a 200 and 300hr Yoga Teacher Training Program. I am a facilitator trainer for the Embody Love Movement and offer trainings and workshops across the country. In 2017 I started a CoOp studio space in Winston Salem to offer affordable yoga to the community.
