About Gene
I have been trained by wonderful teachers and have been practicing myself for 20 years. I focus on the fundamentals, sharing what I have learned to help students build confidence, flexibility and calmness that they can take with them anywhere they go
I've been told I have a knack for teaching and I love practicing yoga so I saw no reason not to teach as well
I am a certified anusara yoga instructor and I have studied under great teachers such as Joyce Savitz, Nitin Gil and Didier Razón

Stick with it and you'll be glad you did, this practice can change your life, as it did mine
I coach volleyball also and I got to teach a class at our training center, I really enjoyed it and I also incorporate yoga type stretches, breathing exercises and meditation into my beach volleyball training
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Physical limitations should be discussed, this practice is not about pain or pushing yourself, it is not exercise, it's much more than that
