Designed and fabricated custom residential furniture then moved to commercial work. Mostly conference tables. Employed at the University of Oregon in the Art, Architecture and Product Design programs assisting students make their designs buildable and then helped them learn the skills to fabricate their projects.

About the lesson

I find it works better if I come to you to see your shop & tools then get an idea of what you want to make & determine if your plans are doable. It is also good to see any projects you have completed to help determine your skill level. Any skill you want to learn really comes down to practice. If you want to make hand cut dovetails know you will cut a lot (tens, hundreds?) of them to dial them in. Also you get to size me up -- I may or may not be the best instructor for you.
