About Ronald
My lifetime goal is to know everything. I will be the first to admit that that is not possible. But that does not mean the effort should not be made. Each day I strive to learn more; it may not be a major revelation. Yet it is the attempt that is important.
This applies to my tutees--it is the attempt that is important. It is what kept my college students requesting more classes from me.
I am patient. I do not believe in perfection only progress.
I welcome different opinions and then exploring the basis for them.
I care about success; however that is defined.

I believe that learning is a process and that knowledge and understanding are superior to facts. I heavily use the resources of the Internet along with my experience and personal resources to guide you in forming informed opinions, in developing critical thinking skills, and in effectively expressing your opinions.
I have an MA in English with a minor in Philosophy,. but my interests are wide-ranging from the classics, to history, to science, and to music and art.
A typical lesson will first be based upon needs. Then a topic is explored followed by some demonstration from the student that the topic is understood, and finally examining how the topic is relevant and useful.
I am happy to work with both motivated High School and college students and adults. We will work together; however, I do not believe in wasting time and money. If you are not committed, then why waste your effort.
