About Josh
I have both the knowledge and experience necessary to teach the LSAT. I received a 180 on the LSAT on my first attempt. I also received a perfect score on the similar critical thinking section of the Oxford undergraduate admissions test - the "Thinking Skills Assessment".
I completed my undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford, where I graduated in the top 5% of my class. I have since begun studying law at McGill.
While studying at Oxford, I began tutoring admissions tests. I've now spent 3 years tutoring these tests, and in the process learned how best to teach my understanding of them to a variety of students.

After receiving a perfect score in the critical thinking/logical reasoning section of the Oxford TSA admissions test, I began tutoring that test to help get students into Oxford. That has made me very experienced at explaining how to approach logical reasoning questions in a way in a way that is simple, without sacrificing consistency. I also focus on making sure students can complete the exam within the tight timeframe, providing techniques to break down questions to answer them quickly. These techniques were crucial in enabling to obtain a perfect LSAT score in my first attempt.
I believe that each student has their own learning style and skills, and will work with them to adapt my approach to however they learn best. Our sessions will be collaborative, where I work with you to figure out what strategies will work most consistently and quickly for you. I will first help you learn how to identify the basis pieces of each question, making it easy for us to find a way of putting those pieces together that's intuitive for you. This allows me to use my experience with these tests to give us a starting point, and from there focus on adapting to your skills and experience.
