About Jesse
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I double majored in English and Math at Bowdoin College, and also completed a Master of Divinity degree at Union Theological Seminary. This summer, I intend to begin medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn.
In addition to tutoring, I work for a nonprofit that teaches young people to build boats, and I'm planning to enter medical school this summer. For fun, I love to read, play guitar, and work out.

Hello! My name is Jesse and I'm excited to support your learning journey. I've been a tutor since 2014, and I've worked with students from fourth grade through graduate school. My specialties are test prep tutoring (especially the GRE and MCAT), and coaching for writing projects for students of any age. My tutoring approach is highly customized to the goals, background, and preferences of each students, and I always try to take a collaborative approach to lesson planning.
