About Mads
Hello,
I am a former divison I collegiate tennis player who recently moved to Los Angeles. I have won numerous Men's Open Tournaments in both dobules and singles throughout the last many years.
I earned my M.A. Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Denver recently, where I also coached the college team. As a side job, I have worked and consulted with numerous professional athletes, some ranked very high in their field.
With that said, I focus primarily on the mental side of tennis as I believe that building a mentally strong mind is far more important than anything else, as our mindset transcends how we work off the tennis court, and essentially how we work in life.
Personally, I am always smiling and very patient with anyone who brings a passion for learning. I am curious about people, life, and cultures and I usually like to hear about how my clients are navigating their lives.
My favorite thing about teaching is that I get to have an impact in someones life. My hope is that my students are able to build life skills on the tennis court and use those to better their lives, whether it may be their relationships, their careers, or financial prospects.
I have played since I was 8 years old. Played and coached professionaly. I personally love to help people learn.

I like to spend the first time with a very open approach. The goal is for me to get to know the client better both personally, but also to get a better feel and idea for their goals, level, and overall perspective on things.
All ages and all levels. The most important thing for me is to work with someone who wants to learn and improve. It doesn't matter which level you are at.
Look for someone who shares your philosophy. However, ideally it is someone who can push you beyond what you know already and challenge you to see things differently.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do you want to accomplish? What do you want from tennis and yourself? What do you want from the instructor?
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Back in Denver, I hired Mads for private Tennis lessons. He is by far the most competent and skilles tennis coach I have ever worked with. Mads was able to develop my tennis game, and my mental side of the game drastically. The result was an improvement of my rank increasing from 4.0 to 5.0.
Also, he is one of the nicest guys, and the kind of person you actually want to spend time with off the court!
I can only recommend hiring Mads for Tennis lessons, regardless of your level!Excellent lesson. Mads is extremely competent and very qualified for tennis coaching at all levels.
