About Rory
With years of experience studying and teaching philosophy, I can help you read philosophical literature at a high level, develop your own arguments and refine your analytical writing skills. I welcome students at all levels of study!
Having marked thousands of papers and exams, I know what markers want and can help improve your grades and get a lot more value from your studies.
In terms of my background, I have studied politics and international relations, psychology, history and philosophy of science, philosophy as well as ancient and modern history at the tertiary level, completing a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, First Class Honours from ANU, and a Master of Arts from the University of Sydney. Subsequently I have worked in research and teaching within three separate philosophy departments. I have tutored many classes across a range of units and subject areas and spent a decade in academia.
I continue my own career development through studying a Masters of Secondary Education degree in 2024.
