About Sue
IFPA certified trainer for 4 years. Also teach swimming. Have my own studio and pool in Gilbert, AZ.
Training will include elements of weight training, HIIT, Crossfit, Yoga, with intense warm-up and stretching to cool down. 1st 1/2 hour is always free.

I started running to quit smoking when I was 19. As time went on I became interested in cross-training and joined a gym. One day at the gym, a woman came up to me and asked if I was a trainer. That started me thinking about the benefits I'd gotten for consistently working out and eating right. I feel I owe it to others to pass on what I've learned and help them attain their fitness goals.
IFPA Certified since 2013. Worked in a gym setting, which inspired my to open my own studio.
Also teach swimming in the summer months.

The 1st meeting will entail asking you about your fitness goals, limitations, and lifestyle. I will do a quick strength, balance, and flexibility assessment so I know where to start with you.
I always meet you where you are fitness-wise.
I've worked with men and women, teenagers to 60 year olds, and various limitations. The most common limitations are back and shoulder, followed closely by knee problems.
One of the most gratifying things I do is help people who feel they can't have a quality workout because of a physical problem. We figure out a way to adapt, have fun, and get stronger.
My advice when looking for a personal trainer is to:
1) See if she fits the part. If your trainer is overweight or unable to do the things she expects of you, move on.
2) Feel comfortable with your trainer-is he safety conscious, respectful, a good listener? If you don't feel safe or that you're getting 100% of his attention, that's a big problem.

Details
Your 1st 1/2 hour with me is always free. You get to see me, the studio, and how I work with you.
Sessions are usually 1/2 hour. They are as intense as you can stand them and no one has ever asked for an hour session with me.
I generally charge $25 per 1/2 hour session or 5 sessions for $100. I sometimes run specials and offer special pricing for working with 2 people in a session.
