About Katya
I have been teaching swim lessons for 3 years. I love working with kids of all ages. I have a water safety instructor certificate from the Red Cross.
I have always loved working with kids and when I was living in Hawaii the pool was the best place to work. I got a water safety instructor certificate from the Red Cross and started teaching lessons to children of all ages as well as the occasional teenager and adult.
I spent 3 years in Hawaii working as a lifeguard and water safety instructor.

When I start working with a new student, I start by seeing what their skills are in the water. Some students are terrified of the water, others can swim every stroke. Learning their skills in the water on the first day let's me know how to create future lesson plans.
Mostly kids ages 3-12. I also can work with teenagers and adults.
