About Christa
Hi! I'm a certified special education teacher with over 15 years of experience helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I specialize in supporting students with learning differences, ADHD, autism, and executive functioning challenges, and I believe that every student can make meaningful progress when they receive the right support.
My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and individualized. I work closely with students to identify their strengths, break challenging tasks into manageable steps, and teach strategies that promote independence and long-term success. Whether a student needs help with reading, writing, study skills, organization, or staying on top of assignments, I create a supportive environment where they can feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Parents often appreciate my ability to connect with students who may have struggled in traditional settings. As both an educator and a coach, I focus not only on academic skills but also on confidence, motivation, and helping students develop habits that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
