About Ana
I offer personalized classes for kids, teens and young adults who want to learn Spanish or English (ESL). I can also help with K12 courses and subjects, assignments and projects (Social Studies, History, English). I work closely with parents and kids to develop fun and creative online classes, with flexible schedules.
I really enjoy sharing knowledge with my students. I love to teach and interact with other kids and people. I have experience teaching English (K12) in Caracas, Venezuela. There's no better way to learn than having fun!
I wanted to share what I know and learn from kids, teens and young adults while teaching. I think teaching is part of my field -Sociology- and a complement to research in Social Sciences.
I have a B.A. in Sociology; experience teachin English at K12 schools.

There are 3 important moments in my process:
- Planning: Schedule & Lesson plans (content, activities and projects).
- Teaching: Online classes.
- Assessment: I'll give students and/or parents my assessment, I'd love to receive feedback and listen to your opinions.
I've mostly worked with kids (6-10 years) and teens in K12 schools in Caracas, Venezuela.
The best advice I can give students looking to hire a teacher is to follow your heart, it's so important to feel good about someone you're going to be sharing time with. Having a good communication is also key to learn and achieve your goals.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
There are important questions that some people (teachers or tutors) can't answer... For example: "What are we going to learn? How are we going to learn about it? And, why is this important?" Learning is more than talking about a specific topic or subject. A good teacher or tutor should be able to answer these questions.
