About Amelia

My name is Amelia and I have a huge passion for Spain. Every since I was ten years old I have wanted to move to Spain! Spain is such an interesting and beautiful country.
I’ve been speaking Spanish for almost 8 years now and I plan to keep speaking it forever!
I would love to help you with your Spanish studies so that you can achieve your goals and hopefully I will inspire you to love Spain as much as I do.
Please do not feel nervous about the lessons! You can take the lead and tell me which areas you are struggling with or want to go over. I’m happy to do the lessons however you like whether that be on zoom or in person! :)

About the lesson

-Lessons could be anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours long depending on your ability and preference.
-I teach my lessons online or in person.
-I usually ask the student which area of the Spanish language they’d like to work on (Speaking, listening, reading or writing) but I also make sure to include some fun facts within the lessons about Spain itself and other Spanish speaking countries. In general, the student has control over the lessons and once they have suggested which area they’d like to look at, I will pick out exercises to help.
- I received a grade 9 in GCSE Spanish and a grade A at alevel.
- I have had a lot of experience in teaching children Spanish, having been a student tutor for the last few years.
- My lessons will be aimed at young people below 18 years of age.
- Tutoring in any level of Spanish up to A-level standard.
-Also have knowledge on writing essays for Spanish Alevel. In particular, high knowledge of “El Laberinto del Fauno” and “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”.

Amelia Oliver taught my younger sister Spanish and Biology when she was working towards her GCSEs. She was a brilliant teacher and helped my sister to achieve a grade 9 (A**). She sent my sister loads of worksheets and resources to help aid her revision outside of lessons. She was so reliable and always replied to my emails within a few hours. I recommend her so much! She charges so little for the quality of the lessons ! :)))
