My journey into teaching guitar began naturally—I started by helping friends and my own children learn to play. Through these early experiences, I discovered a passion for teaching and a knack for breaking down the basics in a way that makes learning fun and accessible. Over the years, I've honed my skills by focusing on the fundamentals of chord progressions and rhythm guitar, which are essential for anyone wanting to play and sing along to their favorite songs.
I've had the opportunity to teach a wide range of students, from children taking their first musical steps to adults looking to pick up a new hobby. My hands-on experience with diverse learners has shaped my approach, making me a patient and adaptable teacher who can tailor lessons to each student's unique pace and style.
I’ve been passionate about guitar since I first picked it up as a teenager, dedicating years to mastering chords, progressions, and rhythm guitar. My journey began with self-taught exploration, learning to play and sing along to my favorite songs. Over time, I honed my skills through continuous practice and study, focusing on the fundamentals that make a great rhythm guitarist.
I also have extensive experience teaching children, which has equipped me with the patience and creativity needed to make learning enjoyable and accessible for all ages. While I’m always working to improve my skills, especially in solo and lead guitar, my strength lies in helping beginners and mid-level players find their voice with the guitar, especially those who want to accompany their singing.

**2. **Setting Goals: Together, we establish clear, achievable goals. This could be anything from mastering basic chords and strumming patterns to learning to play and sing specific songs.
**3. Customized Lesson Plans: Based on the student’s goals, I create a step-by-step lesson plan. We start with the basics—like proper hand positioning, chord shapes, and rhythm—before moving on to more advanced techniques and song playthroughs.
**4. Interactive Learning: I emphasize hands-on practice during lessons. Students play along with me, and we break down songs into manageable sections, focusing on rhythm and timing. I also encourage students to sing along as they play if that aligns with their goals.
