About Aaron

I enjoy teaching and put a lot of preparation in my classes. I like the fact that by being a Firearms instructor I'm doing my part to help make all of our communities safer through my students.

I enjoy helping people who are initially apprehensive about about firearms feel empowered to defend themselves and their families.

When I was in Corrections I was a member of the Emergency Response Team and was selected to become a Firearms Instructor and fell in love with teaching.

I'm certified through the Us Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) as a Training Counselor, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Instructor, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Instructor, Countering The Mass Shooter Instructor, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals Instructor and a Range Safety Officer (RSO).  I was previously a Firearms Instructor with the Michigan Dept. of Corrections.

When it comes to CPL Students, I assess their comfort level then act accordingly.  Handling firearms can be very intimidating so I do my best to make new shooters comfotable.

All kinds from beginners who've never even touched a firearm to seasoned students who are simply renewing their certification.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Why do I want to carry concealed, would I be able to use a firearm to defend myself or a loved one?
