I am Orton-Gillingham certified and take a syestematic approach to teaching reading and phonics.

I always start by getting to know the student and who they are. Sometimes I spend a few minutes in our first session to play a game so the student can become comfortable working with me. I also do an intake evaluation to figure out where the student is at accademically, and go from there with our work.
All ages 1st grade - 5th grade!
