About Bill
Before getting into the business of voice-overs you have to determine what you are good at. Is it commercials, narrations, imaging or characterizations? These are the four main categories of voice overs. Each of these categories branches off into almost an infinite number of subcategories.
For example, tv/radio spots, documentaries, animation, and on-hold messaging, just to name a few.
Find the one category you are good at and work at it first. On a daily basis, listen to that particular category of voice-overs, whether it's on tv, radio, or some other form of media. Then this is where we come in. We've taught some amazing people and work with the best. Just look at our client list world-wide, and that should speak for itself. Give us a try and we'll stear you into the world of Voice Acting.
Just completely love being creative and producing all kinds of commercials spots, promos and TV ads for the incredible Cirque Du Soleil shows in Las Vegas - Michael Jackson One & Ka, Promos for SPIKE TV's "I AM JFK" and ads for Hotels.com, LEGO Dimensions, Cedar Fair Theme Parks, Papa Johns Pizza and thousands more. The joy I get out of creating something from just a concept and seeing and hearing it come alive to me is the ultimate satisfaction in this industry. LOVE what I do...

I won the National Crystal Award for writing, producing, voicing, and characterization for a national photo recruitment ad for the Sears Corporation as well. Its equivalent to an Emmy for our industry.

I live, breathe, and work full time in my field. My office is a recording studio, and I'm the Director of Production for Centennial Broadcasting based in Virginia. When we finally get the opportunity to speak, I'll assess what you want to do, what you like about the business and what you're not interested in doing. Also, before getting into the business of voice overs you have to determine what you are good at. Is it commercials, narrations, imaging or characterizations? These are the four main categories of voice overs. Each of these categories, branch off into almost an infinite amount of sub categories.
For example, tv/radio spots, documentaries, animation and on hold messaging just to name a few. Once we determine what direction you'd like to move into, I'll create your classes based upon your experience and direction of where you're talent will take you.
Next we'll determine how long the classes will be (weekly, bi-weekly, etc) and that will determine your cost for instruction. After your class, you'll receive a Professional Certificate from the Institute for the Performing Arts for completing that course and you'll also receive special links and perks for being a graduate from the Institute.
Look for experience and if they work in the field that they're teaching as well awards received, professional level of work and how much they have contributed in their line fo work.
