About Denise Locke
I am musician who works in the music industry professionally. I have a lot to offer a student wanting to learn commercial music. I teach students to read, train their ear to play and write their own charts. I play and teach piano, ukelele, guitar and vocal. I have been teaching for 15 years and love getting to show people they can accomplish their musical goals

Denise has been teaching our son music for about 4 years. She keeps his interest level high by allowing him to choose songs he would like to learn, instead of taking a one size fits all approach. She also has transitioned him to guitar as well as piano as she recognized his music choices would work well with a guitar. Denise also has worked with us to have a flexible schedule to accommodate other after school sports and activities.
It’s awesome to have an experience with music outside of practice, lessons, and performances that also helps make connections between both amateur and professional and teens and adults!
