My two oldest kids are on the Autism Spectrum… Angela Michael was a joy to speak with and she was up to the challenge of learning how best to work with my kids. I think that the beginning of any worthwhile task is difficult. We definitely had our time of learning key fundamental building blocks but two recitals later my kids have enjoyed the gift of music and have built more confidence in performing for others-which is not any easy feat.

I have been taking piano lessons with Angela for about 8 years and I am now in 8th grade. Angela is an amazing piano teacher and has inspired me from the very first lesson to enjoy learning how to play the piano and to understand the world of music. She respects her students’ interests, such as what kind of music they are interested in playing, and encourages all of her students to accomplish their goals and to share their music with those around them. Angela’s piano lessons have not only helped me to become the pianist that I now am, but have also taught me to appreciate music. The lessons have allowed me to quickly learn how to play other instruments such as the ukulele and violin, due to having studied music in so much depth, to include theory and technique.
