About Rod
I am a recently retired photographer of almost 50 years. What excites me most about photography is that even after retirement from the livelihood of it I can still carry on with it. I currently love shooting sports and teaching photography in our local schools. I have a passion for sharing what I know about photography with anyone that will listen. I have a college degree in photography and close to 50 years' experience as a full-time photographer.

1) 1) Evaluate each student’s skill level.
2) 2) Question each student’s area of interest.
3) 3) Choose lessons to best keep each student’s interests.
4) 4) Begin lessons that include a photo challenge for each lesson learned.
5) 5) Begin a portfolio of each student’s photo challenges that will show a progression of improvement along the way.
6) 6) Celebrate the end of the class with a gallery showcase of each student’s best photographs.
Children grades 6th to 12th.
I would advise a student to communicate in detail exactly the photography skills you hope to learn and why.
