About Michael
I started as an 11-year old taking a black and white darkroom class in summer camp. This led to my building a home darkroom and using it regularly through high school. In college I worked for the school newspaper. I was an active amateur for many years before I made photography my fulltime profession.
My professional experience includes capturing imagery at events of all kinds, portraits and headshots, news and landscapes.
You can Google my name "Michael Brochstein" and see my recent photojournalism work as Google picks up my name from photo credits.
My non-photojournalism work can be seen at (concealed information) and my photojournalism work can be seen at (concealed information)
Like most photographers, I came to photography out of the pleasure of creating imagery that brings the viewer into my shoes when I capture an image. I hope the viewer will feel and see the same things I do when they view my images.
It starts with the goals that each student has and what they bring in knowledge and experience to each lesson.
I am a full time professional photographer with experience in news, events, portraits, headshots, landscape and travel photography among other genre's.
I have taken numerous photography classes and workshops both locally and elsewhere.
My work can be seen at (concealed information) and at (concealed information)
