About Tad
Georgetownmultimedia.com
32 years of experience ranging from photography, videography and graphics design.
military photographer of over 32 years, working with top level military officers and a global perspective from my travels to more than 40 countries. I shoot everything from macro, drone and also VR360 imagery. I also spent more than 2 years as a forensic photographer working for the Texas Rangers which requires a high level of detail.
the diversity of photography allows me to capture so many things and see the beauty of the world.
As a military photographer, I was at the top of my class, over the years I have mentored many Soldiers in Photography, Journalism and Broadcasting as well as graphic illustration. I interact with my peers and subordinates on a regular basis to further enhance not only their skills but my own as I may know a lot, but I am always learning.
Military photographer, videographer and graphics illustrator for 32 +years. Distinguished Honor graduate in my photography studies in 1991 and have continued to add additional skills over the years. A Photoshop user since 1994. For a glimpse of my work, visit my SmugMug page: (concealed information)
I consider myself extremely advanced in all aspects of photography but I have a lot of patience as I have trained dozens of photographers over the years. I was chosen to be the photographer for a 4-Star General and documented his activities throughout Central and South America in the mid nineties. I also worked as a forensic photographer for the Texas Rangers for a little over two years.

I like to find out what level students are at and develop criteria based on their individual needs. I'm usually hard to pin down due to my schedule as I am frequently on assignments. If I am unavailable upon your request, please contact me at a later date. Weekends work best for me.
All ages.
Never stop learning, if you hire someone that thinks they know everything, keep moving and find another instructor. Life is a journey and full of experiences. Practice, practice and practice some more.
I'm fond of all of my events as I have a passion for what I do. I still take bad photos but I am a good editor. One of my recent accomplishments had to do with publishing an illustrated Christmas book. Santa's last Christmas, a Christmas crime scene from a poem I wrote while working as a forensic photographer. I didn't do the actual illustration but I did the drawings for the illustrations. I also did the PR work for Al Blaschke, who tied the world record for tandem skydiving at the age of 100.

Details
My lessons are done in two parts. Once hired, I provide a study sheet that allows the students to gain some basic knowledge of photography so the first lesson is easier. I typically want a minimum of 2 hours with a student, the first hour is to discuss the students needs and assess what they want to get out of their journey and the second is hands on instruction on how to achieve their goals and shoot some of the types of photos they are interested in.
