About Mark
With over 25 years as a touring professional I have learned all aspects of the sport including exercise and nutrition to maintain my strength and endurance for competition. For the past eight years i have mentored high school students in a leaque specifically for disc golf. I have had the oportunity to work for the inventor of the sport, Ed Headrick.
Most disc golf courses are in city and county parks giving a quality outdoor experience. The act of flight with a disc is an enjoyable experience, each throw has a range of possiblilities that add to the fun. A great throw encourages you all the more and propels your progress becoming almost addicting.
Worked in healthcare for 25 years, studied Physics and Chemistry at California State Chico. NorCal Disc Golf Amatuer Champion for 1995, 1996 Rookie of the Year. Disc Golf retailer for 15 years and currently selling online at deladisc.com.

Start with basic stretching then a targeted muscle warm up for throwing. Instruction on the basic physics of disc flight then throwing styles and techniques. Short series of practice throws then play to test out abilities. Hydration and Ergonomics are key for safe play.
