About Lahela
This is my website, (concealed information) I am in love with Pilates because of how it changed my Scoliotic spine (I was diagnosed at age 10 by x-ray), and got rid of chronic pain that I endured from age 19 till my late 30s. I am an ultra-modern Pilates teacher certified by Pilates Method Alliance, and a Licensed Massage Therapist, also certified through NCBTMB. My custom blend of therapeutic Pilates is based in Osteopathic Sciences and the most up to date understanding of the human body. I have taken out dysfunctional "cues" and concepts that do not serve. When appropriate, I add hands-on techniques to address aches. I get referrals from Physicians, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists. And I have worked with a whole spectrum of clients, from stroke and spinal cord injury survivors (after they finished PT), to elite athletes like Cirque du Soleil and former Olympians, and all manner of people in between those two extremes.
