About Matt
I am an elite level cycling coach and long time personal trainer with over 25 years of experience working with clients around the World. I have coached athletes from amateur to professional, juniors to masters, in all disciplines of cycling.
I have also been a top tier personal trainer with experience as a Fitness and Adventures Director at a Cal State University and a trainer and fitness director at a number of gyms. Currently I only work with home based clients within a 25mi radius.
It’s a natural fit for me. I was the kid writing plans in poster board to get ready for whatever sport was next in season, the kin who sat in the fort row and asked all the questions in exercise physiology classes!
Working with my clients is always fun, the more so when they hit a personal goal or discover a latent talent or ability!
I do lots of CEU work in Support if my coaching and training and have both a degree and the experience/certifications to help you get where you’re headed!
I have a BA in Kinesiology with an emphasis in biomechanics. I am a USA Cycling Elite/Level 1 coach with power and skills instructor certifications. I take a TON of continuing education every year to stay current and competent

Coaching: We'll schedule an initial phone call and see if there is a match, from there I'll send you my enrollment form to learn more about you and your available training time, then we start to kick tail!
Personal Training: Typically involves a free first session at your home. If there is a good connection we can schedule from there. I pre bill monthly with any missed appointments credited to the following month.
