One lesson at a time. Its up to you the student. One or two tasks per lesson.
I have taught parent/child teams, siblings, gifted students, Elementary, junior high, school, high School, and some with learning disabilities.
You should be able to play within 3 to 4 lessons in a really playing with some sort of blue and see otherwise you have not been properly taught.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Have I practiced? Have I really listened in the lesson to what was taught? Did I focus on what was said and ask questions to help me better understand the information ? Am I applying those things that I learned when the teacher is not around ?
