About Melissa
I love to bring happiness and brightness, to the world, and to people's lives. I believe that anyone can learn how to paint - you just need the right tools, and a good teacher to show you the ropes! I've been painting since I was 6 years old - so rest easy, and know that you are in very good hands. I have lots of patience, lots of knowledge, and I truly love what I do. Not many people in this world, can say that.
I love to see the confidence and happiness in my customer's faces, as they paint their very own masterpieces. Painting is my passion, so to be able to pass that passion and happiness on to someone else - that makes me happy, beyond words!
I used to work at a Painting with a Twist studio, where I was an artist/instructor, and also a studio manager.
I've taken art lessons during my high school years; I have a degree in graphic design and fine arts.

I introduce myself, by telling them a little bit about myself. I want them to feel comfortable, with me as their instructor. I will introduce them to the supplies that we will be using to complete their painting. Then I will take them step-by-step through the painting, so that they can confidently complete their very own masterpiece.
All types. Everything from beginner (never having painted before) to advanced students.
Be sure to chose someone that is not only knowledgeable in their craft, but someone that is also experienced, flexible (willing to travel to you), kind, patient, and who can make your experience enjoyable!
I instructed a large class, where half of the proceeds went directly to a great cause/non-profit organization.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are they flexible and willing to travel to you?
Does the artist have experience in instructing painting classes? If so, what type of instruction, and what type of paint?
Is the artist willing to supply you with the tools needed to complete the painting?

Price would really depend on what the customer wants to paint, as well as what size canvas they want to paint on.
