About Jan
Jan Kinder, RN, BA, HN-BC, HWNC-BC, a leader and expert in wellness, helps wired and tired people achieve wholeness, resilience, and harmony for a healthier and happier quality of life. She has blended her over three decades of experience and credentialed knowledge in holistic nursing, nurse wellness coaching, music therapy and the healing arts, meditation and spiritual mentoring, stress management, sound and color vibrational therapies, guided imagery, and neurolinguistic programming. She is an international speaker, workshop presenter, author, and among the first Chopra Center instructors in meditation and Ayurveda. Jan first opened the center in 1996 as the Mind-Body Health Institute in NJ, relocated in 2000 as the award-winning Self Centre International, LLC at the renowned Caneel Bay Resort, St. John, USVI, and relocated in 2012 to south Florida under the Jan Kinder Center for Health and Wellbeing, LLC. She has been featured in numerous publications like Palm Beach Illustrated, Travel and Leisure, Organic Spa, The Wall Street Journal and LA Confidential.
