About Catherine
I've been teaching students in different modalities since 2000. I am very comfortable working online or on phone. As far as my background, I have a Bachelors in Business Administration. Masters in Computer Information Systems and another Bachelors in Health Informatics.
When I finished my Health Informatics career, I challenged the Registered Health Information Administrator, RHIA. I have been teaching students Health Informatic for the past 8 years.
I started as an adjunct instructor in Pima Community College. Once there, I did become a full time faculty member.
I have a Bachelors in Business, Masters in Computer Information Systems and Bachelors in Health Informatics. My certification is in a Registered Health Information Administrator. I have been working as an instructor since 2000 and in Health Informatics since 2010

I would first call the student to find out what there objectives are for the tutoring. Are they wanting to go over content or study for a certification. Once I know that, I would prepare for our tutoring session.
Any student from 18 years old and older. I believe one student was in her 60's.
Find out if they are certified within Health Informatics either through Ahima or AAPC.
When the student understands the content and feels more confident working, has always been a favorite moment of mine.
