About Hailley
I love teaching kids. That moment when they understand a concept is one of the most gratifying things I've ever experienced. I helped my siblings get through basic math as they were growing up and I've found a passion to continue to help others understand how math is important in their daily lives

I usually like to start by getting to know the student, a student who is comfortable with the teacher is better able to connect and approach them if they don't understand something
I've worked with all types of students, those who learn best by doing it by themselves and those who learn best if you sit down and show them a few times
Find one that you feel understands what you need. Don't just jump to the first one you see.
I teach martial arts, and work with kids frequently. I'm not sure if there was a particular event, but watching them finally be able to perform a kick after working so hard in it was an enjoyable experience.
