About Pamela
I'm an experienced math tutor who loves working with kids of all ages! I have worked as a math tutor at Mathnasium in McLean, Virginia for over a year, but I am now moving to the Tallahassee area to study Environmental Science and Education at Florida State to become a teacher in the future! I have experience tutoring ages 4-18 in math from beginning numerical fluency to differential calculus. I also have a TESOL certification for working with children who are learning English as a second language. For more information about me, feel free to visit my LinkedIn profile I've attached below:

Looking forward to working with you!!
Helping children learn something new and apply it is the most rewarding experience for me. I love to connect with kids and find out how to motivate them, what they like and don't like about math, and what they hope to accomplish through tutoring in order to best serve you.
I have always known I wanted to be a teacher thanks to several influential teachers in my elementary, middle, and high schools.
I received thirty-five hours of training in math tutoring from Mathnasium that is applicable to teaching all disciplines of math and I am currently studying calculus at FSU.
