About Michal
Hello! My name is Michal and I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I majored in applied mathematics and had a minor in data science and computer science. Since graduating, I was admitted to Ph.D. CS programs at Yale, Brown, Dartmouth, USC, and others. Simultaneously, I became a full-time math tutor, and have been helping students improve their critical thinking skills, catch up on their work, and better navigate online learning. I am experienced in all high school math material, and can also help with test prepration. I scored a 334 on the GRE (170/170Q, 164/170V, 5.5W), a 36 on my math ACT, and an 800 on the SAT math subject exam. Whether you're struggling with your current classwork, standardized exams, or want to get ahead, I can help!
Seeing how this past year has affected our education system, made me passionate about helping students get back on track with their classes. Not everyone has the same at-home resources and it is important to me to make sure that everyone gets quality care from my services. I love seeing students show interest in math for the first time in their life, or rekindle their passion during our tutoring sessions. I see students who were failing their exams now receiving A's every single time and getting their confidence back. It is beyond rewarding!

She was great. Very patient with my daughter who struggled with math and especially fractions. Michal made her worksheets and helped her understand the material.
Michal helped my son get back on track with his math class. When I contacted her he was just got 25% on his most recent exam. Within the first two weeks of tutoring, he got a 90% on his next exam, and then after two more weeks he was getting 100%s. I would highly recommend!
