About Nichelle
I have worked with students pre-k to 8th grade. Most of my time has been in elementary. I teach ESE, behavior support currently.
I enjoy working with students who really try hard but just really need something extra to help them be successful.
I graduated from college with my BS in child developement and right from there I started teaching. After teaching for a few years I went back and got my Masters in Education.
I have been working in education for 13 years. I have taught pre-k to 4th grade. I have Tutored students as high as 8th grade. I currently teach Kindergarten thru third grade in a self-contained emotinal and behavioral disabilities classroom.

Typically when working with a new student I give them an assessment that is at grade level and see how they do on it. Once I see how they do on it I then look at what areas they struggled with and see how we need to adjust to fit their needs. I want it to fit their needs but I also don't want it to not be challenging or so low it doesn't allow for growth.

Details
I typically charge $15 a hour if the student has work they are working on and just need help with it. I charge $20 a hour if I have to plan the lesson and bring the work for them to work on.
