About Yuxi
I am a very patient and understanding teacher who uses creative and effective ways to teach the material that the student is struggling with. I have already gained a lot of valuable experience in tutoring students; in high school, as part of the National Honor Society, I tutored students struggling in different levels of math, science, and english.
I enjoy watching my students grow and learn as they strive to reach their educational goals. I like to help my students learn to solve problems in multiple ways and help them thoroughly understand the concepts behind the topic I'm teaching in order to help them build a strong foundation of knowledge for the future.
I am a college student majoring in pharmacy who has passed many high level science, math, and english courses with good grades. Such class include General Chemistry 1 and 2, General Biology 1 and 2, Calculus, Expository Writing, and Business Writing. I have taken AP Biology, AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC, AP Language and Composition in high school and passed all the AP exams.

For working with a new student, I engage with them to try to understand what he/she already knows and what he/she is struggling with. I learn the way they approach the problem and try to understand their thought process so I can effectively teach them the material.
