About Michael
As an undergraduate student at Vanderbilt University, I may not have years in the tutoring business, but I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. My dedication to education and my passion for helping others succeed have driven me to tutor students from diverse backgrounds and in a wide array of subjects. While my official tutoring experience may be relatively recent (around 5-6 years of experience), I have been honing my teaching skills throughout my academic journey, both as a student and through informal mentoring opportunities.
In terms of education, I am currently pursuing a double major in Chemistry and Math at Vanderbilt. This rigorous program has provided me with a solid foundation in both scientific and analytical thinking. Moreover, my premedical coursework has equipped me with in-depth knowledge of various subjects, enabling me to provide comprehensive and effective tutoring support.
What I truly love about my work as a tutor is the opportunity to witness the growth and success of my students. There is an incredible sense of fulfillment that comes from helping someone grasp a concept that they previously struggled with or witnessing their confidence soar as they achieve their academic goals. It is a joy to see my students overcome challenges, gain new skills, and develop a genuine love for learning.
