About Miguel Jorge
My tutoring aims to teach my clients the intuition behind the concepts they're learning in addition to how to work problems. This allows them to get a deeper understanding of the material and more efficiently solve such problems they're likely to face.
I am also skilled in the use of the online graphing calculator Desmos, and I'm able to make costumized interactive graphs and displays catered to what the student is learning and how. Please see the attached photos for examples.
I've tutored students for the past ~6 years across multiple subjects, primarily in math but occasionally physics and chemistry as well.
I've taken and completed all the courses I tutor my clients in and as such, I am very familiar with the material and struggles students face while learning it.
This applies especially to AP Calculus AB/BC; the highly-structured AP exam format allows me to refine the specific skills needed to pass.
I've passed a variety of AP exams, majority of which with 5's, along with high SAT scores and a 36 on the ACT. Please review my resume in the "Photos" section for more score details or ask me to email it to you directly. References are made available as well.

When I take on a new client, I try and gauge their skills in the subject and how they've responded to the course material and difficulties they've faced. This gives me a general understanding of where they are in the learning process and how to best cater to their needs.
