About Nicole
I am a recent graduate from The College of New Jersey. Here, I studied Elementary and Special Education. Through my studies, I have earned my Master of Arts Degree in Teaching Special Education. I have had a great deal of teaching experiences in a variety of classroom settings and school locations and have had exposure to a wide range of abilities, grade levels, and curricula. From these experiences, as well as other education-related work experiences, I believe that I would be able to help students in need of improving core academic skills at the elementary level.
Teaching is something that I've been passionate about all my life. I knew from a very young age that the field of education was where I belonged. Being able to form positive relationships with all of my students and allowing them to grow in their own education is something that makes this profession so rewarding. I want to have the same impact on my students as many of my wonderful teachers had on me as a child.
My kindergarten teacher is the one who sparked a love of learning and of teaching within me at a very young age. Because of my positive experiences in the K-12 setting as well as the many positive relationships I had with my teachers, I knew that the field of education was where I belonged. I studied Elementary and Special Education for five years and I am a recent graduate who has just earned my Masters Degree in teaching.
I studied Elementary and Special Education for five years at The College of New Jersey. I have a Masters Degree in Special Education and will be certified with my NJ C.E.A.S in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education P-12.

I love getting to know new students and really being able to form positive relationships with them. Learning more about my students' interests as well as their strengths helps me shape my instruction so as to allow it to fully cater to their individual needs.
I have had experience working in general education, inclusion, pull-out resource, and self-contained classrooms with students ranging from first to fourth grade.
Despite the trying times we are in, being able to participate in my college's Virtual Commencement ceremony is something that I will remember for the rest of my life. Not only did this mark a personal milestone, but the current circumstances led this commencement to be one that will forever be noted in history.
