About Barbara
I specialize in grades k-4 math. I believe in creating a strong foundation in number sense. I was a classroom teacher for ten years in grades 1-4. I focus on real life problem solving and encouraging students to learn to think through problems using a variety of strategies. Each individual student is unique and may need to access learning in a variety of ways.
I have a masters degree in curriculum and instruction with a math specialization. I blog at MrsBalius.com

Details
I charge $50 per hour for remote learning via zoom and Google classroom. I can also work with small groups to keep students on track with their regular class work.
