About Peter

If you're struggling with Math or Science, and are within 30 minutes of Schaumburg. I can help you stay competitive and current with your peers and curriculum during this time of limited e-learning instruction due to this unprecedented Covid-19 crisis.

I have a BS (Magna Cum Laude) in molecular biology/minor in mathematics, with a focus on applied mathematics from Loyola University, Chicago.

While I was an undergraduate I successfully tutored students taking math, physics and chemistry courses on-campus and off-campus, while attending Loyola. Also, I was a substitute teacher in Dist. 211 and Dist. 54. Including tutoring in college, my total years of experience tutoring in areas of math and science is 12 years.

Most commonly, I tutor these subjects in science and mathematics: Basic Math (Trades math), Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Biology, Physics (High School), General Chemistry.

I enjoy helping students improve their understanding and appreication for mathematics and science. It's very rewarding to see someone who has struggled with math to finally see how its connected too previous topics learned, and how math is incorporated into everyday life.
