About Megan
I am currently finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I have worked with kids in the past when I coached volleyball and I have helped classmates understand problems various times. Even if I don't know how to do something immediately, I am resouceful enough to figure out how to solve the issue. Instead of just giving people the answer, I will try to walk them through the steps so they can reach it on their own and understand it. During this epidemic, I will only do online tutoring due to living with people who have compromised immune systems.
My mom is a teacher and I wanted to see if it might be something I want to pursue in the future.
I am in my last semester of college. In December I will receive my B.S. in Mathematics.
I have also worked with kids in the past when I coached volleyball.

I will ask them what their goals are and why they want to be tutored. Do they want a higher grade? Do they just want to learn something new? Are they just looking for ways to solve problems more efficiently?
Find someone that can explain the process of solving the problem, not just giving them the answer. In math, understanding why you use a certain formula or proof will help you remember how to apply that concept later.
