Calculus I teacher didn't speak English and a translator that didn't speak calculus. A group of us decided to go to Hannah who would teach us stuff we were supposed to learn that week. We all managed to get at least a B in the class whose average was a 63%.

My son has Asperger's and couldn't grasp pencils well or write. He could spell it if you asked him to but had difficulty writing. The school wanted us to use stamps for his assignments. Hannah learned all his stims, brought her own thick pencils and helped us integrate her into the schedule at a routine time, in a familiar place after school. For the first few weeks she worked to just make it routine for him and then helped him to learn to write once he was comfortable with her touching him. The school wanted him to use stamps, and now he's writing just as legibly as the other 2nd graders.
