About Noam
I stand out due to consistent and proven results. My students have averaged a gain of over 80 points across SAT subjects and 2 points in SAT score. My methods prioritize building conceptual knowledge while also helping students recognize patterns in questions and assignments to be able to indpendently solve new problems.
I have tutored throughout high school, college, and post-graduate work. I am a teacher and researcher, and have always been focused on helping students achieve their maximum potential.
Personally, I achieved a perfect score on both SAT and GRE tests.
I graduated from Vanderbilt with a major in Education.
I am currently a teacher in Metro Nashville Public Schools.

I begin with a pre-test to identify misconceptions and misunderstandings. Then I focus on these with targeted lessons that re-teach structural basics in more comprehensive form so that students can understand and utilize. Together, we work on practice exercises following an I do- We do- You do structure so students recieve examples. Finally, students complete an assesment at the desired grade consistently.
I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary to high school. In tutoring, I have primarily focused on test preparation for high school sophomore and juniors. However, I have experience with testing and standards across different schools and districts.
Find someone who not only understands the content but will work with you to make sure YOU understand it and can consistently display that knowledge in a test or class environment.
I am a huge sports fan, so I enjoyed being able to see the Super Bowl. Although I do not like Tom Brady, it was an exciting storyline between the two teams.

I am grateful for the knowledge and patience Mr. K showed when tutoring my son for his ACT test. He was able to find his strengths and weaknesses and create strategies to help him prepare for his upcoming test. Details
I offer flexible pricing as my motivation is the success of all students. I do have a minimum rate of $25/hr, and for any sessions longer than two hours this rate increases to $30/hr.
