About Benjamin
I hope that my service will stand out through the way I explain what students need to know. I hope to make students comfortable with asking questions and expressing uncertainty in topics so that I can assist them in the pieces they might be missing.
I enjoy being able to share knowledge with others and bring them to a state of deeper understanding, as it is fulfilling to know that I have been able to assist a student in achieving greater heights.
I am currently pursuing a degree in applied mathematics, and have recently completed a course in multivariable calculus. I am taking a Linear Algebra course for the semester as well. I try to actively pursue a deeper understanding of subjects rather than only focusing on the operations and try to make connections to my experiences as much as I can.

First I want to see how much they understand in the topic they need assistance in. After that, I will try and introduce several factors of the topic that connect to the main topic to help them become familiar with how the subject connects with their prior knowledge. Introducing them to actual problems earlier on will help them try and look for what knowledge they need to understand the topic, which will help them retain information I give them afterwards.
