About Erik
We teach the Moy Tung Ving Tsun (wing chun) Kung Fu system exclusively, for health and self-defense. Ving Tsun is efficient and effective; the training makes your legs strong, and the hands able to block and hit at the same time, with power. You get a great whole body workout, and build Kung Fu muscle and energy. We offer private lessons for individuals and groups at our school, or your Fredericksburg-area location. We also offer a regular schedule of group classes at reduced rates.
I've been training Ving Tsun Kung Fu under Grandmaster Moy Tung at the Moy Yat Kung Fu Academy in Richmond, Va since 1991. I have served as an instructor and business administrator at same for over a decade.

Everyone starts at the beginning, with forms and conditioning drills. Depending on age, character and aptitude, students may also be introduced to two-person exercises and technique applications. Ving Tsun training can be high or low-intensity and impact, and training may be adjusted to accomodate unique student needs. Students can progress at their own pace, with motivation and support from instructors.
