About Meagan
As a third year surgical resident, I have academic experience ranging from grade school, university level, to doctorate. I majored in biology with minors in chemistry and neuroscience. For as science heavy as my formal school has been, I do also have a passion for literature and writing which I leverage in my research work. My formal tutoring experience primarily occurred during my undergraduate training. As a young physician, much of my teaching currently is on the job with mentoring medical students. I am passionate about teaching and empowering students to find excitement and relevance in their learning.
I am available to tutor biology through undergraduate levels, chemistry to the level of organic chemistry 1, as well as medical-specific specialties such as anatomy and physiology to the level of medical students. For younger students who need extra support and tutoring with reading and writing, I am happy to discuss needs and see if we’d be a good fit.
