About Bruce
Hello Everyone,
I am a full-time professional writer and author of several books. I am interested in teaching writing skills to those who are terrified of writing. Why? A long time ago, I had teachers who gave up on me. They said I couldn't write and that I was "hopeless." Finally, one teacher believed in me, worked with me, and everything changed!
I have B.S. and M.S. degrees plus an MBA. Along the way, I have taken numerous courses in creative writing and playwriting, and attended several writers workshops. I have written for magazines and newspapers and, of course, the internet.
As a tutor I am absolutely committed to creating a non-judgmental, diverse and safe space. I have truly been where you are and I know that the worst thing in the world is when an instructor is unkind.
Whether we work together or not, please never give up on yourself. You can do this!
